SHIPPING

 

We have negotiated a contract rate with a major home delivery freight line so all discounted delivery charges are shown on the product page and at the checkout cart. Custom built Farmhouse tables are blanket wrap white glove delivery only, so please contact us for rate to your location.

Some of our larger items over 150lbs are shipped "White Glove Delivery "which includes a two person team, up to two flights of stairs, room of choice placement, and unpacking and debris removal upon request, as well as assembly upon request. Most other items are shipped as "Curbside Delivery" (one person delivery with liftgate and items are delivered to driveway or front area) or as "Threshold Delivery" (which includes delivery inside first available room and a 4 hour delivery window).

Any additional services such as "lift-gate," "inside delivery," "re-delivery / re-consignment" and "warehousing or stocking fees," which are charged by the shipping company(s), will be the customer's responsibility; Taramundi Furniture cannot take responsibility for any charges that incur as a result of additionally requested freight services.

Some items may qualify for" Free Shipping" and if so, it will be noted in the product description.

Please note: Final shipping costs will be displayed on the product description page and on the invoice you see before confirming your order. Shipping costs may vary depending on your location. We will contact you if there is an additional cost to your location. If you are located on an island, please call for accurate shipping charges.

The customer is responsible for ALL additional charges by the freight company in the case of having to re-deliver, hard to navigate streets or driveways etc... Our Farmhouse Dining Collection must be shipped by way of Blanket Wrap carriers, so please send us an email with your address so we can quote you accurately before your order is placed. Most of the pieces (mirrors, lighting, home decor, and furniture) in our Vintage European Collection are shipped directly from the manufacturers and are curbside delivery only.Curbside delivered items are on a pallet or in a box on a driveway or in a garage as can be accomplished by a single driver. Additional assistance to help the driver at the time of delivery is strongly suggested. Unusual delivery circumstances (long driveway, gated community, narrow streets,etc.) need to be identified when confirming a sales order.
 
UPS and FedEx Ground cannot handle furniture shipments. We use freight carriers to deliver most orders. Our system is only set up to ship to customers within the contiguous 48 states. Most items ship from California so typical lead time can range from 2-6 weeks depending on your location. Clients outside the Continental US, Alaska & Canada please contact us for a shipping quote.
 
RETURNS

It is our goal to offer the finest products in the world on our web store. However, we know that for whatever reason, things sometimes just don't work out. If you aren't satisfied with your purchase, let us know within 72 hours of receiving your item and we will make every effort to make things right. Please Note: All items MUST be returned in the original packing material to prevent damage upon return and they must be free from any soils or any type of damage. In addition, we cannot take returns on products that have been assembled or modified (such as some dining tables that require assembly by the White Glove Delivery team) All claims filed after 72 hours will not be approved.

**Once you contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization, and the items are picked up, we will refund the product'€™s cost, less the shipping costs (both ways).  

If you return any item where Taramundi Furniture offered "FREE SHIPPING", you will still be responsible for shipping charges back to the warehouse, as well as the "original shipping charges" that Taramundi incurred to ship to your location. Important: We will send you the return address documents, as we have multiple warehouses.

All Special Orders and Custom Orders are non-cancelable/non-returnable.

 

RUGS, PILLOWS, POUFS are easy to return and you are only responsible for the shipping charges back to our warehouse. We will immediately refund you your original invoice amount upon receipt of the items.

 

DAMAGES

Upon receipt, the carrier assumes responsibility for safe arrival of the merchandise to your location. Should any portion of the merchandise be damaged apparent or otherwise, a claim must be filed with the carrier. Apparent loss or damage must be noted on the Freight Form and signed by the driver. Failure to do so will result in refusal of the carrier to honor any and all claims. The carrier should have the necessary forms for filing.

When damage is not apparent until the merchandise is unpacked, a claim for concealed damage must be filed. Upon discovery, a phone request must be made to the carrier for inspection. The carrier is responsible for concealed damage and upon request, will furnish the necessary forms. Pending claims for damaged merchandise are not valid reasons for withholding payment.

Digital snapshots of the damaged product and packing boxes should be taken so that we can understand how the damage happened. All images are mandatory for processing a damage claim. Damage claims without documented images unfortunately will not be reviewed.

 

Taramundi can help you set up the return freight if necessary. Any refund will be issued after the order has been received and inspected by Taramundi Furniture.
